This handsome Border Collie pup deserved some special treatment. Softened greatly and sepia toned along with DCNR produced this effect. The owner of the dog is very pleased with the outcome.
Many thanks Don and Alfie, much appreciated, I am really chuffed with this pic and how it came out.. Sorry Don made a mistake earlier have corrected it now though, it should have read DCNR which is digital camera noise reduction. I find that tool helps quite a lot. Thank you both again

Chuffed??? Us country folk would refer to that as being pleased as pudd'n
All joking aside beautiful picture and I just love the the softness of it.This image could have very easily been over-sharpened, so as to quote the Gaz I do believe it's spot on! :
P.S. nice job on the framing as well.
Great shot ,and that tail looks in mid wag, think he's thinking 'Why is he throwing that stick again!''There is no point pressing the shutter unless you are making some caustic comment on the incongruities of life. That is what photography is all about. It is the only reason for doing it.'......Philip Jones Griffiths
Many thanks all for your kind comments and generous ratings, so very much appreciated. I am really pleased with this shot and for others to like it so much makes it all worthwhile.
Regards
