Ye Olde City Of Lincoln

I had to wait for what seemed hours for no one to be in the shot, such a beautiful city.

Many thanks Bruce, Retainer was sitting on my shoulder, trying to do a parrot scene from a Long John Silver pirate movie Wink The pic put him in the mood to do a bit of character acting Smile

Nice feel image, is the building on the right a bit twisted or something

Cheers RP, the building on the right was all over the place, lucky to still be standing, mind you when we're that old, I would say we will be like that Wink

Am humming the Hovis tune in my head here! It was worth the wait. Probably not possible at the time, but a bit more space to the right of the higgledy piggledy building would have been nice. Can't make my mind up about the top right hand cofner.

Cheers DP, funny enough Gold Hill where the Hovis ad was filmed isn't too far away from me, so will have a go at taking some pix up there soon. I can open up on the right, but unfortuntely it goes into a horizon of modern buildings, and yes totally agree about trhc, didn't notice it at first, needs to go I think.

Nice mood to the shot, feels old. My feeling about the tree is that it should be chopped. I have had problems in the past with ugly modern buildings spoiling a better comp.

Cheers Noddy, agree about the tree, thanks for the rating matey Smile

You know what, after a second look, I think the tree may work as a stopper for the top right, it is almost provides a bit of symmetry with the dark bottom left.
