Interesting image, although the sky doesn't work for me. I am guessing the sky was pretty grey and featureless and that is reflected in the flatness of light on the house and fence and is incongruent with the sky.

Maybe try a cloudy sky and make the whole image B&W and give it a foreboding feel. Only an idea.

Nice try. I have never satisfactorily swapped a sky. I think this might convert well to b/w though. Like the comp.

Agree as above. Photoshop is fine for some things, slapping in a digital sky looks bad, really bad!

i think the sky adds to the concept of "nowhere" and makes this shot
