Can hardly believe those eyes! Did you add the black background? Looks a bit edgy at left, but a great portrait. Beautiful dog.

Wow, to be honest, I am not a dog lover, however, this is a lovely shot that any owner would love to have. There seems to be something going on behind those eyes, but what is he thinking?!

Wonderful portrait, lovely handling of whites, niggle is darkness on nostrils on nose but it's a small one. overall fabulous pic to be proud of. Thumbs Up!

Many thanks to you all for your kind comments, advice and ratings, it's always a good start to the day when you see one of your images appreciated by so many excellent photographers in their own right.
RL tried the sharpening on the 3rd image of the series and yes it certainly worked, thank you.
DP I did add the black background afterwards as the original was up against a shop window.
