Durham Riverside looking towards Prebends Bridge,two students sat down as I was about to take the shot, at first I was a bit put out, but the decided they made the shot!
Jan this needs to go in for POTW, it is brilliant, the pov is spot on and without the students it would have made it another bridge and river shot imo. This for me is the best shot you have taken, I love it, and off it goes into my favourites. If there was a 10.5+ you would have had it.

I felt myself going red just reading the comment and that's the truth - thanks so much, it was one of those rare moments that were gone in a nanosecond, even if I had got it as they kissed, I dont think the picture would have had such intimacy. thanks for the rating. Maybe will get courage to put in POTW.
Beautiful colours here. Not sure about the couple. Theres too much light between them. I'd have been sorely tempted to go and ask them to lean closer together. But with my luck they'd probably be brother and sister.
This is a lovely capture, my niggle would be that it is all a bit too centralised...having said that the emotion of it all and the fab capture of the couple in that pose seems to override everything else..lovely shot.
thanks everyone for the generous ratings and comments - potto, as for comp, the riverside trail I was walking along was bringing me to this spot from rh side of picture, when I saw the couple, I dodged behind the cover of the bushes you can see on the right - wondering if I had the nerve to take the shot in case they saw me and thought I was some sort of voyeur! If I had gone farther to the right the trees would have obscured shot, further to left and would not have got the bridge, and would have missed the moment in the meantime, so it was a bit now or never, perhaps I could have asked them to hold the pose while I tried different angles.....LOL,
