Good shot, I like the water droplet and the dark background that really highlights the flower. Perhaps next time go for a slightly larger aperture so to throw a little more of the background out of focus like the leaf on the right of the photo.
nice shot, perhaps if you had moved a little to the left you would have had amore uniform dark background as the red stems are a little bit distracting.
as there appears to be nothing close behind it would have given the effect of a shallower depth of field. (just give a few hints, dont mean to criticise, I am always glad of help, especially when I started posting, not that long ago
Im so greatful for the advice Thanks, I suppose I didn't even think of the background effect because I was so struck on the look of this beautiful rose and it wasn't a pre planned shot, I just snapped without any fore thought.
