Very nice shot. Think you might consider a smidge more of USM for this site, but up to you of course. Once they are uploaded here, they are compressed again, fyi.

I can't think of what USM is? Thanks for the suggestion though. I can tell you're a detail person etfon911, which I'm not, so it's good to here a detail perspective.

A great photo Dave. I think efton is referring to unsharp mask, which is a tool used in photo editors like Photoshop. The digitising process in cameras causes the edges between objects and colours to become soft or unsharp and they need a little help from software to bring them back. If you dont have any software there are some nice free progs on the internet. GIMPShop is an image manipulating program. And a great program for converting RAW files and sharpening is Pixmantec rawshooter. I got a copy a few days ago and it seems a superb little program. Hope this helps

big help. thanks donmac. Photoshop elements 2.0 came with my camera but I'll check out the other programs too. I'm getting a new computer next week so I should be able to do this photo stuff a lot easier than with the cheap laptop I have now.
