Yes it was, along with Chelsea winning 4-1 last night and getting a beast of a lens Sunday this birthday boy is a happy chappy, albeit an old happy chappy Wink

I've gone for the Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR DI from Jessops, the reviews on this lens are astonishing, Tmat a member on the blog uses one and that's what persuaded me. All in all it should stop the forever changing of lens's and save the mirror.

I will keep you informed, tbh I can't wait, being restricted to 55mm is a bit of a shock after having 10x optical on the Z5. Of course I will keep you informed of the Chelsea results as well, especially when we're CHAMPIONS again Smile

BTW where's Mark Goldstein, he's an Everton supporter for his sins Smile

Hubby has got the same lens Gaz,and he loves not having to change them.I will have to start saving as it is a bit of a pain changing them.

Seems to be a very popular lens, and not a bad price either, the reviews and image quality are spot on, well worth the money imo, I just cant wait till Sunday Sad
