Wonderful shot great composition.Bit confused about which side the sun is rising as the lighthouse seems to be lit from other side.'There is no point pressing the shutter unless you are making some caustic comment on the incongruities of life. That is what photography is all about. It is the only reason for doing it.'......Philip Jones Griffiths
Very nice... love the way the eye is drawn into the shot.
Well done.

Really beautiful. I might be tempted to go for a vertical because of the leading line and vertical lighthouse and as the right doesnt have as much going for it. The only thing that would hold me back would be the nice sunlit sand ripples. Agree with Jogi as the sand and lighthouse are lit from the opposite side. did you swap in a different sky perhaps? As always, really nice capture.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the sun was rising from the left of the shot, hence the left hand side of the lighthouse is lit up. Not too sure why the sky on the right is a little yellow. I applied a Multiply layer to the top half in Photoshop so I suspect it's this. I have vertical versions from the exact same spot too, but I prefer this one as the water leads in all the way from the bottom right into the photo.
"I meant to ask, how did you achieve thse rich blues in the other lighthouse photo?"
I applied a provia action in PS, and adjusted the colour balance manually.
