my other half tells me the little white dot in the distance is his Aunties croft!!! (small world)(and the phone box was not there acouple of years ago when we went along that road. He speaks gaelic and can pronounce the roadsign in your other pic (and believe me it sounds nothing like it looks....)!!

to janzark: almost every gaelic word i tried to pronounce, sounded completely different in the end. i'm very pleased that you like the photos. i've been on the hebridies with 6 other students for 5 days and it was a great trip. and you walked on the same road there?? the world is really small
Nerlin, I stayed in Tarbert (the port on Harris - where his parents lived for a week, and borrowed their car, we toured a fair bit of the islands and went to Stornaway (pub crawl!) we never got to visit his Aunt in the little white dot in your pic but passed that way on our travels, a very small world! my partner a McDougall, born on Harris, enjoyed the pics.
