He has a really strange expression, but as a photograph it is exemplary. The softness is just superb. I have to agree with desertpea though, particularly the shadow on his face seems black rather tham dark.
I think its amazing. No part of this image is wasted in any way. Colour, line, lighting and facial expression all echo the same message. "Get me out of this photograph!" This is fab!!
