Wandalee, why 5? Is there anything in particular you don't like about this pic?

Thanks Zenonas, it's the real colour of the raincoat!

Very nice, glad to see you got this one posted after the upload problems last night.

I like the composition which I spotted from the thumb. however, when opening the pic, although I like the idea, I find the actual setting depressing and the expression on the man in the picture rather hostile. as a contrast to surroundings, the innocence of the little girl and the brightness of the coat make a social comment, if you like, however I find it depressing overall. this however does not alter the fact it is still a good shot!

Interesting. I like your composition, I think this was well spotted but I also find it depressing somehow. Still I can not fault it technically or aesthetically it is just a personal observation.

Thank you all for your comments. I see what you mean about the depressing landscape cos it WAS bloody wet and depressing -this is a summer resort in the north of India during monsoon. Hence my choice to keep the colour of the raincoat. Paul, do you think you could stick a smile on the man's face:)

Although I have to say that you are right that the weather did not help and made the photo a bit depressing, It did a good job making the girl with the pink coat stand out, good effect. I really like this photo. You should try these kind of effects on diffrent backgrounds.

Thank you Celia, and sorry for depressing you all, it wasn't the effect intended. Sherlee's spring pictures should cheer you up;)

I like the effect Isabelle. Two people walking through a cold damp street, a feeling of having walked a way and still waiting to arrive home, maybe something on his mind. Life isn't always sunny and cheery and I think you captured the mood of this very well.
