The Christdala Congregation was formed on July 18, 1877, by the first Swedish immigrants in Rice County MN. This church was built for 230.00 dollars in 1878. Came across this on a "backroads" drive in rural Minnesota.
Does this church look familiar or what. I took an image of this Minnesotan Church about two years back when I was working on a series I called "In search of Minnesota".
