We have large numbers of White-tailed deer living on Long Island. I have more pictures of their white tails than I do of their faces. This time of year they look a little ratty because they are losing their winter coats. I hope to get better pictures during the summer.
Thank you all for the kind comments. Paul, I wasn't too crazy about the background either. I was stalking them all afternoon and in the rain I might add. I have some great shots of their big white tails waving to warn the others as they leap to safety. I finally got this shot at the end of the day, I guess they were too tired to flee any longer. Thanks again for the great comments, I'm so pleased you all liked it.
