Thanks Steve and tjr. This bird is a Northern Cardinal. It holds the title of State Bird in 7 out of 50 states in the U.S. I really haven't done this fellow justice since I have not been able to capture him with his crest fully displayed. I won't give up though. And yes, Steve, I did crop this from a larger image. Once again, thanks for your comments and ratings. I'm learning while I'm earning. My Gallery
