It's nice, but I think it would look better if the blue was a lighter, faded sort of pastel colour. Nice work! Smile

Yes i think so too, maybe just one of the boats used as selective colour would have had more overall effect imo Smile

lovely comp, suspect the boats were really this blue, but not sure it sits so well against the sepia and bright as this either, I think this would probably be ok all colour or all sepia as it is a strong comp in its own right, or as suggested, a slightly less harsh blue

Having said and read all that, if the rest of the photo was totally desaturated, this blue MIGHT work.

Thanks all, sorry I am only answering stewart: changed saturation of the blues with a minus 25%... Is that enough ?

I'm not sure. At the end of the day, it's your photo, so as long as you're happy with it....
I usually just play around in Photoshop, trying all sorts of different techniques until I find a result that pleases me, (or until I give up!) so that would be my recommendation to you too! Smile

Lovely shot and a good choice for selective colour..
I think I would actually try darkening as well as the desaturation, just play around maybe till it is a little more subdued, but it is a personal preference what we all think is ideal so really what you like is the main thing.
