I am always haunted when I post this photo of one of the nicest, mannerly, and very beautiful young woman I ever met. She was 19 years of age when this series of photos were taken in 1986 ( September 1986) Believe me , she was every photographers dream. She had been in dozens of "beauty Pageants" and won virtually all of them sice a small child. She DID tell, me that fateful day of this sitting, that she planned to never enter another pageant. She stated that she was now a College student, and would be very busy with her studies at the famous UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA in Athens, Ga.
Little did I know that her words were prophetic and sad. Almost two months later her life ended with actions of a drunken driver, not far from her home.
After the sitting she thanked me and gave me a little kiss on my cheek. It gave me a thrill, but this sitting is always in my heart. I pass by the very spot where this senseless wreck took place twice a day, almost everyday.
