Ladybird ladybird let me sing you a song,why did it take the pair of you so long,yours is so good but harves is so Thats why he has'nt posted it .Ha Ha

A nest is usually where eggs are deposited, or did you mean the lady bug? Wink I remember reading that in the spring, they lay tiny, light yellow eggs in aphid colonies. Eggs hatch and the larvae feed on aphids or other insects for two to three weeks, then pupate. (I guess after all that eating they have to pupate.) Adults emerge in seven to ten days. Save that date in your calendar, you could have a whole army of lady bugs to shoot. (Could Stewart be rubbing off on me?) Seriously, this is another masterpiece from the Macro Master. Thanks for your comment and info Amanda, to tell you the truth, I only put this on as a bit of laugh for TJR, he and I spent ages taking shots of this Ladybid much to the amusement of Julie and Bridget, and this was the best I could manage LOL. I was not that pleased with it really and was going to take it off after TJR had seen it...........:) Steve
