My opinion may be humble, but this is definitely not a 10.firstly there is no clarity in the photo, bottom part is impossible to make out, its over balanced to the left.
Yeah, I'm looking at it now on a different machine, and it is far too dark. My other machine needs to be calibrated or I'm using a weird color profile or something. Maybe it could use a little dodging around the cock n heart.
I would try to get more detail on the lower right part of the photo.Dodge a little in photoshop. you can't makeout the rooster.I would also try to sharpen a little. if the light came in the window and shined on the rooster it would help this photo a great deal. I hope that helps like i said the idea is a good one.....frank

Sounds good. Maybe I'll remove these and post them again. Like I said, I think I'm using a screwball color profile in Photoshop - the detail is there. If only this was 3d cgi, in reality I can move neither my house nor the sun.
keep at it, you will get it.if you waited an hour would the sun go up a little and shine on rooster ? you can shoot it again, this time use a tripod it will be sharper.....frank

Its the moody shadow that makes this . . . if the white balance on your camera (or levels changed in Photoshop) you may show more detail in the bottom left.
