The colors are nice, the composition is very nice. I think the clouds and sky really look true to life. If it were me, I'd have cropped out the leaves to the left, but that's my taste. Over all, it's a nice photo. AmandaMy Gallery
A summer in Minnesota – nice capture, the image contains all the important features of Minnesotan summer joyes. The Martini boat/cruiser and a dock, an old growth pine tree and of course one of the 10.000 lakes in the background.
Great job Terry – I think you took an image that screams Minnesota.

It's nice, but to me it looks a bit fake. It could look good it if looked properly fake or properly real, but it's sort of lingering in the middle. To make it look real, I would sharpen it and tweak the RGB curves (individually). To make it look fake, I would play around in shadow/highlight and then reduce the saturation. It would be interesting to see what happens if you do decide to follow my advice. (Which is, of course, only based on my opinion!)
