Great shot - very sharp and interesting subject. Not so sure about the OOF branch at the top.

Thanks gav, this is the 50-500 sigma very sharp lens also very heavy.the branch was there i tried to make the best of it.Tamron has a new 200-500 di much lighter then the sigma.it will be interesting to see what it can do....frank

The technical aspects of this are good, but I'm afraid the subject matter disturbs me. Aesthetics are a part of presenting work to the public, and that simply is how this image affects me aesthetically.

That lens must have set you back a bit. Would like something similar myself but don't want to splash out loads. Was thinking about buying a x2 extension tube...

If you are going to get a convertor get a 1.4. I have not seen a good 2x covertor yet.

I missed this one. It's wonderful, and there's nothing squeamish about this. I think bald eagles are endangered in the US?
