Great Blue Heron fishing on the Illinois River near Starved Rock. I was passing by on a Paddle Wheel boat and he looked a little ticked off. Just after I passed he caught a fish, I guess we all know how that goes with photography.
That is a beautiful shot of a beautiful bird. I like the old tree on the bank with all the roots hanging out as well as the one he's using for a perch. Nice going. AmandaMy Gallery
