This little guy must have just learned to fly and was resting quietly in my yard. He was kind enough to give me a couple of minutes to get a good shot before he flew back to Mom who was calling to him all the while. He is perched on a mushroom trellis for my climbing roses in front of the garage.
Look at the details in his downy feathers! He has some gorgeous colors especially on his chest and you have done a great job in capturing them. Don't you just love those baby beaks?
