This doe kept stepping between me and her fawn. I couldn't get much closer without spooking them. It looks like a halo around the outer parts of the ears, but that's how the fur is catching the sunlight.
Amanda, remember how I said you're good at capturing animals' emotions? Well, this one is no exception. I can just see her daring you to come one step closer. She probably would have bit your head, and then you'd have been sad.--Chris
