The ships on the right are the Foinhaven FPSO and behind it is an oil tanker. Below the FPSO are more than a dozen risers (flexible pipelines), rising up from the seabed 600m below, pumping oil to the ship. The FPSO then passes the oil to the tanker, which will sail off when full.
