this is the most inspiring photograph I have seen for ages! I didnt give it a 10 only because its always good to strive for more! It is so interesting on so many fronts...texture, colour, and image....even line! I hope you are over the moon with it, I certainly would be!Visit My Art Prints Website
This is great. i would be inclined to get rid of the dividing line and the board on the right side by clone tool or cut and paste to keep the man to main attraction..with the texture and colours.
I like this very much. By keeping some focus on the fabric of his jacket you have pulled the image together quite well. Great color and softness where it matters as well as some interesting placement of noise. This looks to me like a cover for a mystery novel or at least a chapter lead. "Busstop" looks like it might be a good read. Don't change anything. You've done well here.
Be Cool, don't freeze...
For texture, colour, and the sheer imaginative leap that saw the opportunity to make a good photograph - 100%! IMHO the pose looks a tad weak (I know he wasn't posed by you...) and only the small of his back is actually in focus. Had there been any other way to refocus on his head/throw his back out of focus again, imho the photo would have been immeasurably stronger. It has something of a Pink Floyd/urban alienation CD-cover theme, but would benefit from a 'stronger' attitude of its ad hoc subject - which I would guess is a matter of time -simply waiting to see if such an opportunity would have come along... before the bus did! Surprisingly, it actually looks much better in its thumbnail. jOhN
