Another nice fog scene. The only thing I don't like about it is that the leaves at top center are more clear than everything else. I suppose adding a fog gradient (yes, to fog. I know it's weird) could help even things out.--Chris

Thanks for the suggestion, Chris. I thought the clearer leaves give it a little depth. I'll give it a shot anyway and see how it looks!

Nice atmosphere; almost monochromatic. I would like to have the trunks of the 2 trees in the background have considerably less detail in them, but that may just be me.

Thanks for the rating and the suggestion, TJ. That might balance well with Chris' suggestion, too.

Don't change a thing!! To me the appeal of this photograph is the way it plays with the subtle differences it contains. That is what makes it work is my personal view. Just goes to show how different we all are (thankfully!!) It says flatness with a hint of dimension and b&w with a hint of colour, and soft with a hint of sharpness.

Thanks, J. Personally I agree with you and that's always been the appeal of this shot for me. On the other hand, I'm always open to suggestions and look forward to seeing the results that others suggest.
