The lens seems to be doing quite well, at least as I can tell from a subjective viewing of one image. This is very pleasing and relaxing to see.--Chris

Steve! i am so pleased to here you and julie use this lens as i have had such a nightmare with the sigma lens taking mega soft photos that i was about to give up and go back to using the Nikon 8700 compact camera! looking at your gallerys and seeing your great photos has inspired me to keep going!
