I must have missed it or was up in an alien ship experiencing lost time, because I don't remember the first one. This one works very well for me. It's very difficult to get a bright sunlight, high contrast image in the forest that looks good, but you did it.--Chris

I overlayed a layer of the image heavily blurred (gaussian) over a layer
that was overly sharpened and then played with the transparency until I liked what I saw.
