Somebody mentioned clouds, so I thought I'd explain more why I like the sky, when it obviously is just sky. I think it offsets the tones of the barn just right. If it were darker, or had those wonderful clouds, it too would have made the shot nice, but it would have shifted my attention to areas other than the barn. This way, I'm free to roam over the endless pattern and texture treat the barn represents.--Chris
Lots of detail throughout this high key image, good shot.'There is no point pressing the shutter unless you are making some caustic comment on the incongruities of life. That is what photography is all about. It is the only reason for doing it.'......Philip Jones Griffiths
Excellent Amanda. I love the detail in the barn; and, as, Chris pointed out, nice sky. I also like the foreground. it does a good job of leading us into the picture.
Thank you all for the lovely comments. I really like the look of this barn. It's brand new so the wood is very detailed. It is a real barn, bclapper, not a model. However, I think it's just for showing and not for blowing. My Gallery
