Flippin eck Rachel! this is verrrry cool! I've seen similar optical illusions sent on email at work, but wouldn't know how to go about designing one myself.

goodness me, i certainly didnt expect so many lovely comments!
no ibuprofen yet - quite a few Headex though!!!
i figured out that all you need to make these pics is white around where the light would catch if it was real object and black where the shadow would be then to make them move you just need to put each one the opposite way round (if you know what i mean) Wink
I think you should all have a go! i bet you could come up with some better ones!!!

I've just remembered what they were used for, or so the emails will have us believe. They are apparently used to test stress levels depending on how fast you see them move. The slower they move the less stressed you are.. I think Smile
