Unter den linden is my favorite avenue in Berlin, and certainly one of the most beautifull I have seen. Thus us not the best part of the avenue tho, at the other end, there are lots of fantastic building that miraculously escaped the destruction of the war.
I found this photo a bit strange, too dark for my taste, but, of course it's my personal taste, although it's very interesting work. I would like to see this beautiful avenue and its fantastic buildings in colour or not so strong b&w. AnaAna
Another example of how an artistic eye makes the world change. We as photographers have the equipment and skill to just snap everything and present it exactly as it appears to the naked eye. Yet, what's the use of that beyond a simple relaying of objective fact? I much prefer the personal interpretation such as this fine image.--Chris
