Old Oak

Old Oak

I've been taking my young daughter on "photo walks" lately. (She takes her "Hello Kitty" 3mp point-and-shoot, and I take my "grown-up" camera.) Today's walk found us in front of this old beauty.

Can we see the 'Hello Kitty' version? Maybe then we can evaluate the 'relative' merits?

LOL, mald! I'm laughing because I thought the same thing but didn't want to intrude. LOL!

From the mouths of babes and innocents...

Thanks, Amanda, mald. I must confess that I haven't pulled the photos off my daughter's camera yet. (Bad daddy, bad, bad, bad.) Sorry to disappoint, but I don't actually recall her taking a photo of that tree; at that point, she was busy collecting leaves.

I recommend trying the Hello Kitty experiment yourself; they're only about $100 US. Put one in the hands of a five-year-old, and watch the fun. Hours of laughs, guaranteed.

Now, where can I get a five year old at this time of day?...

Thanks, Bridget. Yes, I like taking photo walks with my daughter. Mald, actually, a six-year-old will do just as well. (My daughter will be six in a week or so.) As for the Hello Kitty photos, I was right: She did not take a photo of that tree. However, among the blurred, tilted, and otherwise kid-typical photos in her recent set of downloads were two from yesterday's walk that I rather like. I've posted them here:
