Kaboom!

My first ever fireworks shot. I couldn't get to a fireworks display this year, but I saw these going off through my window, so here you have a handheld, through-window shot! I really wish I could have gone out with a tripod and done it properly. Smile

Looks great, who needs a tripod with hands as steady as this (11 secs.! ), you're not a surgeon by any chance.

Not a surgeon, but my little Konica Minolta has a mega steadyshot, and I was resting on my elbows! Thanks Jogi! Smile Stewart

Thanks Steve. It's only good considering the circumstances though. I really wish I could have gone to a proper display. There is one near here to which I had planned to go. It is held over a lake, and I had already planned all of my shots. I was quite upset when I found out that I couldn't go, but then my neighbours (or their children!) decided to have a mini display of their own, so I grabbed my camera and this is the best of the five shots I managed to get. Thanks for your comment! Smile
