wow. i never realised that a close up flash could be made to look good with a bcakground. i gave up on that idea pretty quickly. it looks as though i should have another look. a very lovely picture

One of your best. I don't remember Steve's, I'm sorry to say... But if he had a background like this one I know I would have remembered it. I love it. You can see each individual tree, the reflections are crystal clear, I've never seen clouds look so good in a reflection. This belongs on the cover of Field and Stream or Handsome Sportsmen etc. Wink

Good luck with it, I believe you have another winner here.

Does this boat never move???? Glad it didn't because I really like it. The only part of it that intrudes upon my nirvana is the harsh flash shadow at the bottom of the boat.--Chris
