Butt Head

Take my word for it, this tiny goat looked much cuter in person.

Still looks pretty cute. Goats are cool. They're ornery, bright, and very social. Plus, they reportedly will eat poison ivy. (For that reason alone, we are considering getting a few of them. We have a healthy, and unwelcome, crop of poison ivy on our property.) Great shot, Amanda. -Brian

Great shot Amanda!

Reminds me of my pet goat Lucinda as a child.
She ate Mountain Laurel and got very sick - had to have her stomach pumped.
My grandfather had her horns removed - for safety?

Thanks for the ratings and comments. Depending on the age, removing the horns can be really involved since they are part of the goat's skull. Kids can be disbudded when they are around 3 to 10 days old with no problem. It definitely is done for safety, for both the owners and the goats. Smile
Thanks again everyone for taking the time to comment.
