The Shoe maker

In Malta, nowadays, shoe makers and repairers are difficult to find. This man was very kind to accept me to photograph him while he was working in his workshop. Comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you

Beautiful photograph. The lighting accentuating the main area of interest is very well organised. Superb.

Christopher, I have no suggestions for improvement. You've once again managed to package the essance of your subject into a neatly arranged work of art.

What wonderful rich tonality, Has the delicate look of a silver selenium which I love. The subject matter is superb! Oh yes, and nice framing. Just a wonderful art print with historical value. D. Smile

Christopher, I wish I had a suggestion--any suggestion--to offer, just because you asked, but this image needs no improvement. There's so much to see here, yet the background is muted, and one's attention is drawn to the man's strong, work-worn hands (then, secondarily, to his face). My God, this is a wonderful photo. -Brian
