This very good portrait would excell even more in black and white. Think how nice Christopher Azzropardi's (sp?) black & white work portraits come across. There's just something about the working human being that comes across well in monochrome.--Chris

chappo's right, as usual. The source of light here is secondary to the focus of the picture because of the colour. Remove the colour and the focus becomes the light. This, in colour, is excellent. In BW it doesn't work. There is no point in comparing this with Christopher's work where the light source is concealed and his work, I'm sure, is conceived in BW.malsmith.com
