Daughter and Dog

My daughter, Arden, "walking" our very busy Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Basil. It's not high art by any means; I just like this photo, probably because I know, intimately, the two personalities involved.

I don't think you have to know the characters involved to appreciate this photo. The composition is good, the expression is great, there's a suggestion of movement in there with the tugging on the lead and I love the dimensions of the dog and the ball - Basil is quite an odd shape isn't he?!

Thanks to all of you for your kind comments and ratings. I appreciate them more than I can express.

John: Yes, she took more from my wife than from me, lucky girl.

Ange: Thanks. Yes, Corgis are strange-looking little dogs. They're a really old breed, and they're more than a little weird. I keep telling my wife that I think they were crossbred with some alien life form. They're herders, too, so they're highly "caffeinated" pretty much all the time.
