Trees and shadows

Trees and shadows

Usually this time we have snow already. Looks like that this year in a week the lawns should be cutted again. Only sun doesn't know anything about global warming, this is the highest sun's point now.

Great shadows and silhouettes. I do find the road at the bottom a bit distracting though, perhaps if it was cropped out? -- Tim

Thanks, Tim. In fact, I cropped the most part of the road at the bottom, but decided to keep part of it because of the contrast shadow from the big tree and colours around this shadow. Have to think more about your idea to remove the road completely.

I like the road at the front...It makes an interesting point at which to start looking into the image and I like the greater contrast...just goes to show how we all have different opinions!! Jenny

I didn't even notice the road, I was so taken by the shadows. --Chris

Wow I love low angle light. looking at the time stamp you have to be at a high latitude. To get that angle around here you have to be up early or out late. john

John, it was about 13:30 PM Moscow Time (MSK). This is 50 km from St.-Peterburg, we have very short day this time.
