Oh so cute. Hope you can foster that love of the camera. If you have the means, I suggest drawing a line around the inner eyes, feathering to about 2 pixels, then use the brighten/contrast control to bring a little more light to the eyes.--Chris
Speaking from memory- they are delightfully natural as models at that age. Great shot. john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
Chris, thanks for your comments on my photos! I am trying my hardest to master the camera but am having problems with adobe and understanding how to change colours etc Can you recommend a good basic book for me?? As you can see I love taking photos of my grandchildren and mainly concentrate on them at the moment (they grow up so quick!)Any help would be great. Thanks Wendy x
Wendy there are good free tutorials on photoshop on the web. Rather than repeat all the details again- you can pick them up from links on my website. The book that I use is Photoshop for windows bible. john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
Thanks for that John, I have been to Amazon and just put an order in for the book!
so it should be with me next week I will browse your website as well! Thanks again x
Wendy, I don't have an actual photoshop book, but I have picked things up from a few magazines. There's 'Photoshop User Magazine,' and 'What Digital Camera,' and 'Black and White Photography.' As somebody who's never had money for a college level photography course, I can promise you that you can get the same information out of magazines. Just read, read, read, and try everything they talk about.--Chris
