you people take yourselves too seriously. this photo is absolutely hilarious! talk about capturing a moment! is photography simply about contrived, posed, and/ "pretty" shots?
10 points for monty!
look at the expression on that poor cat.IT IS IN PAIN !!!!!!!!!!!! Do you understand PAIN.Or do you feel just becouse it is a cat it does not matter ? I can not blame the little girl she does not know better.I think the photographer should have put down the camera and explained to the girl that this is not a good thing.
"Leave the gun. Take the canolies." ...Frank
bee, let's hang you upside down for a little while and see if you begin to take life a little more seriously.
Question, say this picture featured a man instead of a seemingly sweet, little girl. Would that make this different? Would those of you voting it as a ten see it as disturbing. And if so, why?
10/10 for posting a picture which stirs up controvesy and debate. Irrespective of the content, at least this has elicited some emotion from the posters to this board - something, that unfortunately, most pictures lack. Yes, cute landscapes can make nice photos, but after a while they all start to look the same.
It's a shame that most of the posters to this photo can't separate their liberal minded atittudes from their ability to critique a picture.
..and with that comment, I really want nothing more to do with this board. I can find "controvesy" (learn how to spell, DiaAzul) watching the evening news. I don't need to seek it out on a photoblog. I'll take my liberal-minded attitude elsewhere. (Was that meant to be an insult? You can do better than that, no?)
Sorry, I did let this get personal. I usually think before I write. I'll refrain from making any more derogatory comments. But in all honesty, the actual photograph is not that great. I have seen the photographer capture much better images--some, as a matter of fact--were spectacular.
