I would actually like to see more depth of field on this one. It's not a bad shot at all, but it'd be interesting to see how it changes with more of the frets in focus. There's no EXIF data available with your image, so I can't see what shutter speed and f/stop you used. The next time you shoot something like this, where the subject and the lighting are static and more or less in your control (as opposed to, say, a nature shot), try a shot like this and then try lowering the shutter speed until you can stop down to f/16 or smaller. Comparing them side-by-side might be a clarifying exercise. In fact, it'd be very interesting, I think, to compare several shots taken with varied f/stops (f/8, f/22, etc.) Just my opinion, of course. -Brian
