Another view of the abandoned house in the historical centre of Vyborg. Red bricks under the damaged stucco make an impression of skin stripped off. This impression is strengthened by the red "droplets" of bricks on the ground.
The photo is tweaked in PS with an idea to strengthen the original impression.
I like the effect a lot. I wonder how it would look if the bricks were less orange (though perhaps that's exactly how they looked "in real life"). -Brian
