Brilliant. Please tell me something about this lens. It's a dedicated macro, right? So, how often can you use such a lens for things like this, non-macro, and is there any noticable tradeoff? --Chris
Whoa. This just f---ing rocks, no two ways about it. As a former D70 owner, I'm impressed with the lack of noise in this long exposure. This photo looks like the werewolf is just around the other side of that tree. -Brian
Yes it's a good macro lens. I usually don't bring with me when i go out in the evenings especially after I bought 50mm f/1.4 nikon. I usually carry with me the 50 mm and 28-300 mm tamron. Because of dirty filter I decided to replace in bag tamron with sigma so I decided to use it instead of 50mm.
I didn't use camera noise reduction to take more pictures. After some shots because of the wind the sky got clear. So I reduced noise a little with PS
