I'd love to know where you all find such barren beaches. I like it. I think the photo needs a little something to punch it up though. It seems a little too gray, perhaps more contrast? Otherwise it's a great subject and a great composition. I like that the beach seems to go on for miles and miles. AmandaMy Gallery
Some contrast or midtone enhancement would make all the difference. The building seems a little fuzzy, as well, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing in this case; it adds an almost other-worldly effect that I rather like. And even though the building is technically a little close to the center of the image (speaking from a rule-of-thirds perspective), I think that actually works well here; cropping it would ruin the sense of loneliness conveyed by this photo. -Brian
Hi Phil I like this too but i was wondering about putting the light house a little more to the side alowing more of a view to either side of it. also if you could have moved a little to your left you would have got all the legs.
