We had the merest dusting of snow this morning (which was gone by noon, unfortunately). This shot was taken in a parking lot. I liked the way the parking lot stripes and the swath of snow complemented one another.
Ok, so big deal, you and pacphoto are having a little snow. You needn't rub my nose in it. LOL..... We are well over due in my neck of the woods for some real snow. Love the textures, by the way. This works very well. AmandaMy Gallery
Interesting abstract from nature, Brian. All the talk of snow makes me think of 1978 (I think), when National Geographic ran an article about the weather, and showed a satellite shot of the continental United States, where there was surface snow on all 48 states on the same day. Weather cycles. It'll come around to you again, and you'll get a foot in a half hour. Just be ready. Have the lense clean, the polarizer filter or skylight filter ready, and your shutter finger fully stretched out so you don't pull something. --Chris
Well seen Brian, great detail in the tire tracks. It snowed again here last night, about the sixth storm in a month's time. Perhaps you could convice the snow gods to send some of this stuff out East? -- Tim
