Thanks for all your comments. I was lucky indeed. I was just driving home from an early morning shoot, and saw this fox on the side of the road. I slowed and stopped the car and was able to do a couple of shots before he ran off. I got him yawning as well: http://www.photographyblog.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=49822.
