Thanks, Amanda. When it comes to ice, I'm not the trusting sort, especially ice that's over top of moving water. So I didn't walk out on it. However, this morning, I did take a rock weighing about 20 pounds, toss it 15 feet in the air, and let it drop to the ice. To my complete surprise, the rock bounced, and the ice barely chipped.
