It's a great drawing, but I'm not sure about the photo. If you look around the corners, you can see bits of 'edge'. I'm also not sure how much skill it involves to take this sort of photo. I'm not a fan I'm afraid, but the drawing certainly is impressive!

Rosebud, I think you should take the next logical step. Set your camera up, take a self-portrait EXACTLY like this, adjust it to look as close as possible, and let's see that. The version your son did captures a lot of regalness and beauty, and I'm sure you're very proud of him. --Chris

I suggest that you set an easel up and photograph your son with the pencil in hand actually touching up the drawing. Picking up on Chris' suggestion as well- If you could position a mirror behind the easel and capture the model as well as the artist you would have a winner. john
